Monday Money Madness: Prizes Growing Faster than Kudzu

We've got money flying out our Wazoos . . . so where are you . . . on Monday Money Madness nights?

This was our last winner of a cash prize, Darragh Graham of Key West and who works at the Fury Catamarans. Darragh won $50 on Monday, the 28th of April 2008. That's Tim our manager presenting him with a $50 bill for being here at 10:55 PM when we called his name. Darragh could not believe how easy it was to win!

Next Monday, 12 May 08, Cowboy Bills will try to give away $700 in cash while you sit on your ass! You gotta be here to win!

Hey Y'all,

It's Tuesday night and I'm sitting in the DJ Booth listening to this week's band, J T Curtis and the Silver Eagle Band.

Last night, Cinqo de Mayo, we tried to give away $500 in cash prizes to people who left the bar too early to win one of the four cash prizes we give away every 90 minutes starting at 8:00PM.

Here were the cash prizes we were trying to give away last night:

8:00PM - 9:30PM . . . . . $50.00
9:30PM - 11:00PM . . . . $100.00
11:00PM - 12:30AM . . . $150.00
12:30AM - 2:00AM . . . $200.00

This is Maureen from New Jersey who was pissed with me that she wasn't one of the New Jersey names drawn for a cash prize. However, Maureen calmed down when Fast Eddy Sheehan was asked to aprehend here from killing me. Maureen was the funniest customer of this past Monday easily!

Craig and Tim turned Maureen into a New Jersey Sammich. After the dance, she tipped Craig and Tim for the weirdest lap dance given in the Keys that night.

Who were the losers who were not present when we called their names last night?

1. Our first person to not be present when we called his name at 9:23 PM was Justin Carpenter of Key West! On Justin's card he filled in it says he likes Corona, Jack n' Coke and Garth Brooks. I guess he doesn't like free cash because he wasn't here to pick up an easy $50.00 cash. Next Monday, during the 8:00 - 9:30 PM time segment, we'll try to give away $100.oo cash to some person who answers when we call his or her name.

Justin, if I were you, I'd be here next Monday with several friends . . . because the prizes are enormous.

Think about it: if you bring four friends, you guys can split prizes if any of you win.

2. Lorraine Deehan of Blackwood, NJ left the bar too soon. Had she still been sitting in the bar when we called out her name at 10:55PM, she could have won $100.00. Thus, next week's prize for the 9:30 - 11:00PM slot is going to be worth $150.00!

3. The next drawing was for $150 cash. Again, we pulled the name of another woman from New Jersey . . . making me wonder if she and Lorraine from the second drawing had been in here together? Michele Hawarth from Gibbistown, NJ was not here when we called her name. Hence, Michele forfeited an easy $150.00 cash prize which next week will be worth $200.00 during the same time slot of 11:00 PM - 12:30 am.

4. Lastly, another local left our bar much too soon and missed out winning $200.00 cash when we called his name at 1:50 AM. So . . . if any of you know Jason Tamsett of Key West . . . be sure to let him know he lost out on walking out of here with $200.00 easy cash. Thus, the prize for next week's corresponding time slot of 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM will be the biggest prize ever offered in the short history of Monday Money Madness . . . $250.00!

Okay, how about a list of the prizes for next week, 12 May 08?

Okay, I'll post them in this form so you know how we can claim $700.00 in cash prizes are up for grabs next week:

8:00 PM - 9:30 PM . . . .$100.00

9:30PM - 11:00PM . . . .$150.00

11:00PM - 12:30AM . . .$200.00

12:30AM - 2:00AM . . . $250.00

Now let's go over the short list of rules so you have no doubts about how one of these big cash prizes can be won:

1. Come into Cowboy Bill's Monday nights, 8:00 PM - 2:00 AM, and fill out an official entry form which one of our doormen or bartenders will give you.

2. Fill out the card in its entirety with your real name. We actually drew a card once already with "Daffy Duck" on the card as the name and nothing else. When I made a remark about how that person just lost money being a wise guy, a girl came up and claimed she wrote the name Daffy Duck "to be funny". I told her if she produced a Driver's License with "Daffy Duck" the money was hers. So she lost and easy $100. (We called another name which wasn't here either, but at least that entry wrote their real name.)

3. If we call your name, and you're here and you answer within the next song I play, you win the money offered for that particular drawing.

4. If we call your name and you are NOT here, you forfeit winning the prize. We will then add $50.00 to the prize you could have won and make it the new amount offered for the same time slot the following Monday.

That's it.

Simple rules.

You're here and we call your name, you win.

If you leave early to snooze, and we call your name after you leave, you lose.

See you here next Monday, gang, and remember to bring a fat wallet or purse in case you win some of the big bucks!
