So good to have had you Locals come in and support the guys tonight.
For the second "Jack Daniel's Men's Bull Riding Contest" in a row, we had a full contingent of 20 guys sign up for the contest. We actually had more guys wanting to get in the contest, but as I explain every week for the Ladies' Night Sexy Bull Riding, we are constrained by time. So when we yell "Only 20 contestants will be allowed to sign up for this contest," we mean it.
A guy by the name of Louis won this sucker in the 3rd round at a Level 4.
Louis won $200 cash for winning 1st place!
We were hoping one of the 5 other semi-finalists who made it into the 3rd round would qualify for a 4th round. But it wasn't to happen. The other five either fell off early (before 8 seconds elapsed) or touched the bull with their off hand.
Well, we had to have a run off for second place. What we told the 5 riders was, "The guy who stays on longest will win second place."
Of these 5 guys, Antonio and Dave each lasted 8 seconds. So we had to increase the bull one more level for a ride off between them. At the new speed, both guys stayed on for 3 seconds. So instead of having another ride off, we simply gave the following prices to a tie for second place:
Antonio - $25 Cowboy Bill's Gift Certificate + Jack Daniel's pint shaker glass
Dave - $25 Cowboy Bill's Gift Certificate + Jack Daniel's pint shaker glass
We want to thank all 20 guys for making this another great contest. We thank Jack Daniel's for their support. And we especially thank the crowd who yelled encouragement and gave loud applause for all 20 riders.
Remember, every 3rd Thursday of every month, we hold this Jack Daniel's Men's Bull Riding Contest. And if these past two contests are any indication, this contest is now established as a crowd pleaser with a decent sized and growing crowd every time we have it.
